Could you spare some time to visit an older person?
| | Many older people are isolated and forced to cope alone with no-one to turn to for company and support. Our volunteer visitors provide a constant source of friendship which is valued just as highly as the financial help we give. This special contact makes the people we help feel part of the Independent Age family. It may be the only family they have. | How you can help - by keeping in contact with local Independent Age beneficiaries and visiting a few times a year
- by providing a friendly voice on the telephone
- by raising awareness locally of the help IndependentAge offers
- by helpiing with vital fundraising events
Just a few hours a month makes all the difference You will be supported by a local IndependentAge representative and meet up with other volunteers in your area from time to time. If you would like more information, please contact our Area Representatives. | The North of Ireland Mrs Lydia Grierson 35 Lisburn Road Hillsborough Co.Down BT26 6HW Tel/Fax: (028) 9268 2595 e-mail: Lydia Grierson | | | (If calling from the Republic of Ireland use the dialling code 048 instead of 028) | | The South of Ireland Mrs Frances Galloway PO Box 406 Waterford Tel: 051 39 99 89 email: Frances Galloway
